Overview
This policy describes the current Robert C. Blanzy author website. It covers the static pages, local images, and links that make up the site today. It does not describe services that may be added later.
This page is intended to provide clear operational information. It is not legal advice, and the site operator should review it before production launch.

Information currently collected
This static site has no user accounts, advertising system, analytics tool, newsletter form, or site-hosted contact form. It does not currently ask visitors to submit names, email addresses, or messages.
The site itself does not maintain a visitor or mailing-list database. Basic technical information may still be processed by infrastructure providers as described below.

Server and hosting logs
When this site is hosted, the hosting and network providers may process basic request information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamps, and security events. This information is generally used to deliver the site, maintain reliability, and protect infrastructure.
The replacement site is intended for Cloudflare Pages, but hosting remains subject to a separate launch decision. Provider settings and retention should be reviewed before launch.

Contact information
This replacement site does not currently collect contact submissions. While the existing Squarespace site remains live, the Contact page links to its current contact option. Information submitted there is handled through Squarespace and any destination configured by the operator, under their applicable policies.
No public contact email address has been approved for this site.

Third-party links
The site links to external destinations, including book retailers and the current Squarespace website. Those services operate under their own privacy and cookie practices. Following an external link leaves this site.
Retailer links do not currently include affiliate tracking added by this site.

Future newsletter or form integrations
A newsletter or direct contact form may be added only after a provider, delivery route, consent language, spam protection, validation, and retention approach are selected and tested.
Before any such integration becomes active, this policy will be updated to explain what information is collected, why it is needed, where it is sent, and how long it is retained.

Data retention
Because this site does not currently receive contact or newsletter submissions, it has no application-level retention period for that information. Hosting and external-service records are retained according to the settings and policies of the relevant providers.
A documented retention period is required before a site-hosted form or mailing list is activated.

Your rights
Depending on where you live and how your information is processed, you may have rights to ask about, access, correct, or delete personal information, or to object to certain processing.
Until a replacement contact method is approved, use the pathway on the Contact page. Requests involving an external provider may also need to be directed to that provider.

Policy changes
This policy may change when the site’s hosting or functionality changes. The date at the top of the page will be updated when a revised policy is published.

A public privacy-contact address has not yet been approved. Until the replacement contact channel is established, use the current contact pathway.
